Newsletter Submissions? Please?
If you are interested in being the new editor, let me know about that too.
However, as this is my last newsletter- I am not bringing home any back issues from this con. Let me know if you want any from the past 2 years, and I'll set them aside for you before I dump the big box right in the middle of the social hall or something and unload.
oo, I just remebered that I need one from the winter con por favor.
I don't think I ever got one from fall con... SLACKER!!!!!!
I might be interested in that there newsletter position, but I'm not sure if I want to run for a different DYSC position? Or not run at all? Dunno still thinking about it.
RUN FOR DYSC!!!!!!!!!
(and newsletter isn't a dysc position, maggie just likes to pretend)
According to a sheet sent out with the con form, newsletter/mugbook editor is a position.
it is an available position and will be up for election at spring con, but it is not a voting DYSC position. newsletter/mugbook coordinator is invited to all of the DYSC meetings, but when it comes to decisions making they can weigh their opinion but do not have a vote.
wait, newsletter editor is voted on?
woah woah woah:
i actually wrote the job description for this, you can check it:
newsletter editor is NOT voted on.
the editor is warmly invited and HIGHLY encouraged to attend DYSC meetings, travel etc., is compensated, but, as stated, while you can talk your mouth off, you can't actually vote.
It's like being on DYSC without actually being on DYSC.
And, Meredith, there's nothing saying you can't be both the editor and hold another position.
